Transcripts are an important part of your podcast. They ensure users with screen readers can access your content, help journalists grab the perfect quote in your exact words, and make your site that much more search engine friendly for indexing.
Adding a transcript to your episode is super simple.
We’ll assume you’ve uploaded an episode. If you haven’t, learn to upload a new episode here.
To navigate to where transcripts live in an episode; Click on Podcast in the left navigation, click Manage on your podcast, click Episodes in the left navigation, and lastly, click the Pencil Icon on the episode you want to update with a transcript.
Here you will find the Episode Transcript Editor. You can type or paste in your copy, then format as desired.
When done. Click Save at the bottom of the page to apply your changes to a live episode or update a scheduled episode.
