Refunds

PodOps Hosting is committed to providing a fair and customer-centric refund policy. We value your satisfaction, and if for any reason, you are unhappy with our services, we are more than willing to assist you with a refund request.

To request a refund, simply click the “Help” link from your account and let us know the reason for your request. However, it’s essential to understand that as a file hosting service, there are costs associated with storing content on our servers and providing bandwidth to serve your episodes to listeners. Even during periods of inactivity, we continue to incur these costs to maintain your older episodes. We strive to strike a balance between customer satisfaction and sustaining our business operations.

Here are some instances where we commonly grant refunds:

  • Accidental Account Charge: If you forget to cancel your account and are charged, reach out to us at hi@thepodops.com within 7 days of the charge, and we will process a refund for the last charge.
  • Unused Account for an Extended Period: If you haven’t utilized your account for several months and wish to cancel, we will review your usage and provide a refund that covers our costs while also offering you a portion of your money back. This will not be a 100% refund.
  • Unhappy with PodOps Hosting: If you have tried using PodOps Hosting for a few months but find that it doesn’t meet your requirements, we can refund your last charge.
It’s important to note, any refund issued will be less the merchant fees charged through our credit card merchant, Stripe. This is typically 2.9% + $.30 of the total transaction, but can change based on the credit card used at the time of payment (Visa, Amex, etc.). This amount is determined by Stripe, not PodOps Hosting. When a refund is issued, it will be for the amount PodOps Hosting received less the Stripe merchant fees.

If your payment fails for any reason, you will receive an email notifying you of the problem. Your account will be downgraded to a free account immediately and your episodes will expire within 120 days. Upon expiration, your content will not be retrievable.

Please keep in mind that the free plan only allows up to 2 hours of new content per month, and episodes will be permanently deleted after 120 days.

Podder Analytics

However, it’s essential to understand that there are costs associated with utilizing the Podder Analytics add-on (integration) to report on podcast data. Even during periods of inactivity, we continue to incur these costs to ensure reports can be provided to you on demand. We strive to strike a balance between customer satisfaction and sustaining our business operations.

Here are some instances where we commonly grant refunds:

  • Accidental Account Charge: If you forget to cancel Podder Analytics add-on and you are charged, reach out to us at hi@thepodops.com within 7 days of the charge, and we will process a refund for the last charge.
  • Unused add-on/Unhappy with feature: If you haven’t utilized your account for several months and wish to cancel your Podder Analytics add-on, we will review your usage and provide a refund that covers our costs while also offering you a portion of your money back. This will not be a 100% refund.
