Add a From Name and Email Address

To send marketing email messages, you’ll first need to add a From Email Name and Email Address to your account. This is required before you will be able to send email messages. Even with an active Connect plan, you cannot send email messages if this step has not been completed.

To add a From Email Name and Address, visit your account’s Connect section (located in the left-hand menu).

From the Connect dashboard, click Settings on the left:

Select the Email Account Settings tab and enter the From Name and Email address you’d like users to see when receiving emails from you.

Click Create Sender after entering your information. This will send a certification email to your entered email address. Please note: this comes from SendGrid – please check your spam folder if you are not seeing the email.

Once you receive the verification email, click the Verify Sender Identity to complete the process.
