How do Studio Sessions work? #

Once you launch a session and allow all permissions, you can simply enter a room name into the room field, and you will have just created your first podcast session! Then, once in the session, you can open the menu using the 3 dots button at the bottom and select “Invite others” to share the meeting details with others.

I want to join a Session #

You should reach out to the organizer of that Studio Session and get a room name to join.

I can’t activate my camera or microphone #

It sounds like a permission issue on the device. Please double-check that you gave Studio all the permissions needed. If using a phone: The easiest way is to go to the device settings section of the phone, find the Session application, and turn all permissions on. On Android, you may also need to go into “Apps and notifications” after opening Settings.

How do I invite others to my Studio Session? #

Once in the meeting, you can open the menu using the 3 dots button at the bottom, then select “Invite others” to share the session details with others.

How do I use Studio Sessions on Windows/Mac? #

PodOps Studio Sessions is a web-based app, so on any desktop operating system, you can navigate to the All Sessions tab within PodOps Studio, and you’re good to go – no need to download anything.

What is the password? #

If you are prompted with a password when joining a conference, you should reach out to host, because they might have locked the session.

How can I delete a Session Room? #

You don’t need to delete a session room, as Studio Session Rooms are deleted as soon as everyone leaves them.

Someone entered my meeting I didn’t invite #

Next time you can try using the “Room lock” feature. Using Room Lock, you can set a simple password that you share with others in the session (in the unlikely case they get dropped from the session); this way, only people who know that password can join your session.
